SWISSVAX UK'S DETAILING CENTRE CELEBRATES ITS SECOND ANNIVERSARY

Time flies and next month our Detailing Centre will have been open for two years.  Having started life in the corner of Gmund Cars showroom, our detailing facilities have gone from strength to strength and are now contained in a purpose built detailing unit.

SWISSVAX UK was pleased to have been involved as official car care partner to the Pistonheads/Autosport show.  Not only did the usual suspects man the Swissvax stand for the 4 days, we also had assistance from a number of Swissvax Authorised Detailers who travelled from far and wide across the UK to detail the Iconic Cars selected by Pistonhead members.  All credit to them as the scenes outside the NEC were chaotic to say the least! A number of them stayed throughout the show, maintaining the cars and generally being on hand on the stand to give advice.  Many thanks go to Glyn from Carnoisseur (Auto Details) (North Yorkshire), Iain from Finer Details (Mancheser and the North West), Paul Townsend from Shine On (Berkshire), Zaff from Clifton Car Care (Bristol and the South West), Frances from Emerald Detailing (Cotswold/Oxfordshire), Roy from Pro-valeting (Cambridge) and particular thanks go to Marc and Paul from Autowash (Essex and Greater London).  The Autowash vans are fully equipped with hot pure water which proved to be invaluable on set up day.  Many thanks Lads!

Swissvax Head Office Launches Detailing Centre
Swissvax UK is pleased to announce the official launch of its first Swissvax Detailing Centres at its premises in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. 

We all know that the environment is full of chemicals which are harmful to paintwork, from salt on the road in winter to corrosive and oxidising compounds deposited in the rain. Another culprit is the automated car wash, certain brushes of which, whilst making your car superficially clean, leave behind tiny swirl marks and scratches.  At Swissvax we correct the paint surface with all the necessary steps to bring it back to its best possible condition – only then do we apply Swissvax carnauba wax which extends the life of your paintwork by protecting it from UV radiation, road salt, industrial fall out, etching, acid rain and just about anything else harmful.  

Full treatment of your car can take from as little as one day to up to three days depending on its condition. In addition to the paintwork correction and protection, a full Swissvax detail includes a full interior valet and the wheels removed for full cleaning inside and out.  We can also restore tired leather upholstery as an additional treatment.  Caring for your car after treatment is easy and you will find that it soon returns to showroom shine on washing.
 
When you think about it, it makes no sense not to have your car treated annually considering that as cars are now mechanically reliable with extended service intervals, the value of a car is judged almost solely on cosmetic appearance.  By protecting your paintwork, you are protecting your investment.
